Alexey Yakovlev
Alexey Yakovlev was born in 1976 in Putyvl, Sumy region, Ukraine. From childhood, he showed a talent for drawing and studied at an art school, repeatedly winning prizes at city exhibitions. In 1996, he graduated with honors from an art college, and in 2002, he completed his studies at the Faculty of Fine Arts and Graphics at Kharkiv University. He has worked as a photographer-artist, designer, engaged in decorative painting, and has experience in teaching. Currently, he resides in Kharkiv, Ukraine. His primary artistic focus is figurative painting, where his mastery is most prominently expressed. Continuing the traditions of the realist school of painting, Alexey also incorporates impressionist techniques, which can be seen in the dynamic compositions reflecting the fast pace of modern life. He enjoys capturing life as it is, creating an immersive experience for the viewer.
